A long time ago when I was a child - I heard tales and rumours of a place
A place of shadows and mysteries - „The Black Forest“ is it’s name
Within rumours of wisps and witches – With power to revive
I see the only hope – To bargain for your life
The children of black forest - will aid me
Hundreds of wisps and vague shapes - to meet
To bring her body and beg - for a spell
Lay you on a moonstone and reanimate
Unknown phrase – rattling air – a person appears
Incantation – word is said – the sky collapses
The body – was lifted – eyes began to gleam
Within the – summoning – the circle of three witches
Her body twists under the spells of ancient times
Conjuring back her spirit – which was left for afterlife
The children of black forest - will aid me

Four faces’ve risen – Heading straight to me
Crawling, Infecting – A strange curse into my skin

I got there anyhow – for an uknown purpose
My steps are led through many trees.
Over the hills and pools overgrown with moss.
Feel the wilderness – the nature of yourself
And I found myself knee deep in a lake
Peering down to water which mirrors
A scarified face – that was born to hate
Is it me or is it you whom I see?
Tell me what happened the day before
Or I will burst insane
Or I will burst again
Four crows are circling over the lake
Resurrecting a demon of mists
Just one man standing in the middle of streams
A strange course was sent upon him

Very powerful melodeath. The way I like it best. Some tracks like the outstanding title track have this addictive extra doomy element. The entire album is a winner back to back. Unbelievable that nobody on Bandcamp has posted notes on this hidden gem!
